Lead and grow our sync licensing business by securing music placements across ads, film, TV, OTT and brand partnerships to maximize catalog revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, pitch and close sync licensing opportunities across advertising agencies, OTT platforms, production houses, brand content studios and film/TV projects.
  • Build and maintain a structured sync pitch deck organized by mood, genre, tempo and use case.
  • Manage the complete deal cycle from outreach and negotiation to licensing, contracts and payment collection.
  • Track and report on outreach, response rates, deals closed and revenue generated.
  • Build and manage relationships with music supervisors, ad agencies, brand managers, OTT platforms and production houses.
  • Develop and execute a targeted B2B outreach strategy with personalized pitches and consistent follow-ups.
  • Identify brand partnership opportunities for Outwrite's catalog and artists.
  • Initiate partnerships with international sync agencies and sub-publishers across the UK, US, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Outwrite catalog, including mood, use cases and licensing status.
  • Support catalog acquisition by identifying music gaps and sync market opportunities.
  • Monitor trends in music licensing, sync fees and brand partnerships.
  • Ensure catalog metadata, rights and documentation remain sync-ready.
  • Own the sync and licensing revenue pipeline with clear quarterly targets.
  • Build reporting systems to track revenue by source, track and client.
  • Contribute to the company's overall revenue strategy.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in music licensing, sync sales, music publishing, brand partnerships, or music/media business development.
  • Strong understanding of sync licensing, including master and publishing rights, licensing terms, territories and usage.
  • Proven experience building and closing B2B partnerships.
  • Confident with cold outreach, negotiations and relationship building.
  • Existing or quickly buildable network across ad agencies, OTT platforms, production houses and brand content studios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Owns the publishing operation end to end: registrations, royalty collection and catalogue monetisation, so every song Outwrite controls earns everything it should.

Key responsibilities

  • Own song registrations across IPRS and international societies, with clean splits, metadata and documentation for every work.
  • Run royalty pipelines end to end: collection, reconciliation, statements and payouts to writers.
  • Audit catalogue income across DSPs, YouTube, societies and sub-publishers; find and recover unclaimed or leaking revenue.
  • Model and track advance recoupment across the roster.
  • Manage sub-publishing and administration relationships in key territories.
  • Keep the catalogue sync-ready: rights status, clearances and one-stop documentation.
  • Build monetisation plans per catalogue: sync, covers, sampling, YouTube Content ID and emerging income streams.
  • Prepare quarterly earnings reports for writers and leadership with actionable insight.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5+ years in music publishing, rights administration or royalty operations.
  • Working knowledge of IPRS, society workflows, DSP reporting and publishing metadata (ISWC, ISRC, IPI).
  • Strong spreadsheet and reconciliation skills; comfortable with large statements.
  • Detail-obsessed, process-driven and comfortable owning numbers.
  • Clear understanding of publishing deal structures, splits and recoupment.

We're looking for a music scout with a sharp ear for the next big artist. Join our A&R team to spot talent, track trends and help shape emerging careers. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes music.

Key responsibilities

  • Discover emerging artists across Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and live venues.
  • Research new genres, scenes and cultural trends.
  • Prepare artist profiles, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Assist with demo reviews and catalogue evaluations.
  • Support artist meetings, listening sessions and creative camps.
  • Help coordinate recording sessions, writing camps and release preparations.
  • Maintain internal A&R databases and talent trackers.
  • Monitor charts, playlists, DSP trends and viral moments.
  • Assist the team with day-to-day label and A&R operations.

Ideal candidate

  • Deep passion for music across genres.
  • Always discovering new artists before they break.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and DSPs.
  • Excellent research and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, presentations and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Prior internships or campus music experience is a plus but not required.

Bonus skills

  • Music production or songwriting knowledge.
  • Experience managing artist pages or fan communities.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing.
  • Familiarity with music distribution, publishing or rights management.

Duration: 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of a full-time offer based on performance.
